Allesandro Colo, ultracyclist and RAAM champion from Italy. wins 2007 Enduro Solo category of RAAM. Allessandro set a PowerCranks record that will probably never be broken when he rode "non-stop" (5 minute breaks once an hour) on a stationary bicycle for 280 hours on PowerCranks as part of his RAAM build up. These RAAM people are crazy.

OK, we admit, PowerCranks are a bit pricey so here is another way of achieving the same end. Not sure how much money this solution saves. Let us know how it goes for you if you try it.

The Happy Athlete posted this video. What is really strange about this one is he apparently changed the cranks and pedal adapters around on a fixie so he could pedal backwards with power. We did that once for a football team so the defensive backs could pedal backwards in PC fashion. First I have seen a cyclist do this. No explanation as to why.

The Happy Athlete posting a kinesiocapture analysis of his stroke on PowerCranks. While not being aware of all the details here my analysis is substantially different than theirs. First, if that is the best aero position this man can get into something is definitely wrong. My guess is his cranks are way to long for his flexibility. Would be nice if pedal forces were being measured also. Interesting what people are doing.

Not sure where this video is from, Russia?
